Dharamshala is a picturesque mountain resort and home His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism. McLeodganj
Mcleodganj is the seat of the Tibetan government in exile, sometimes called "Little Lhasa ". Mcleodganj is one of the two districts with high Dharamshala. Was highlighted as a tourist attraction and emerged as the first Buddhist center where Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama arrived with thousands of followers in Dharamsala in 1959. There are Tibetan religious education institutions and other centers of Mcleodganj.

Dalai Lama Temple: Located within walking distance, just 10 minutes walk from the main square of Mcleodganj. The Dalai Lama Temple also known as Namgyal Monastery was the nerve center. Since the early work of the temple began in the morning early morning visit is the best time to watch the monks pray and turn prayer wheels heavy. John Church of San: It is located 8 km from Dharamshala. A short and pleasant walk of 20 minutes from the main square of Mcleodganj can take you to that church. War Memorial: It is located in Dharamshala. The monument is situated near the entry point to Dharamsala, commemorates those who fought valiantly for the honor and the defense of the homeland. The location is ideally located in the pine forest.
Bhagsu Falls: Located 11 Kms of Dharamshala known for its ancient temple, a water fountain sweet and waterfalls. It is a quiet village, near Mcleodganj downtown. Bhagsu breath cut the waterfall known grave. It Bhagsunath Temple and a lovely pool. This is a beautiful place close to nature.
Bhagsunath Temple: Temple Bhagsunath and waterfalls are popular places of tourist interest, located in Mcleodganj within walking distance. Temple is dedicated to Shiva and has great historical significance. Bhagsu waterfall is located at a distance of about 2 km from the temple. It's a cozy place located the Mcleodganj outskirts. The temple attracts devotees in large numbers local to their powers of healing and faith.
Dharamkot: Dharamkot people in Mcleodganj is a famous tourist site. Mcleodganj is a quiet admired by international tourists. Surrounded by lush greens deodar trees, beautiful landscapes and situated 14 km from Dharamsala. You can join a walk Dharamkot Bhagsu simple. Dharamkot decoration is simply breathtaking. This is a picnic area known for its ecological beauty.
Triund: Located 17 km from Dharamsala town, at an altitude of 2827 meters. It is a famous tourist attraction located on the outskirts of Bhagsunath. It is an ideal camping. It is pollution-free tourist spot the environment and the famous trekking route.
Triund Trek: It was a beautiful hike 9 miles Mcleodganj. The walk takes you through villages and Rakka Dharamkot wildlife in the region and Galu Devi temple in its path.
Dal Lake: Located about 4 km. of Mcleodganj, Dharamsala and 14 km and bottom is located between hills and cedar trees Himalaya. We begin to walk in the region, and located near the village of Tibetan children. There is an artificial lake surrounded by fir trees. Enjoy boating on the lake and visit a nearby temple.
Kunal Pathare Temple: Located 3 km from Dharamshala. A level walk Kotwali Bazaar leading to the temple of local goddess of rock.
Kareri Kareri lake lake is surrounded by green meadows, oaks and pines, making it an idyllic place to visit. It is 22 km in altitude 2.166 meters.
Naddi: The place where a picnic is 5 km northwest of McLeodganj. Naddi offers spectacular view of the Kangra Valley. You can trek Kareri Lake Triund Guna Devi, and from there. It is a popular tourist destination for lovers nature.
Mesrour: The main attraction of this place is fifteen finely carved temples eighth century Monolithic Rock.
Chamunda Temple: This temple is located about 15 km from Dharamsala on the banks of the river in Baner road Pathankot-Mandi.
