What are the bodhi seed accounts?
My yoga teacher talks a lot about it. Is this something Buddhist?
Yes, it is a Buddhist / Hindu tradition, pearls are called bad. The Bodhi tree is the tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment, and the seeds is an allegory of the seed of enlightenment (which is in all of us). There are 108 beads, used to count the number of times the user has said a mantra / prayer (108 is a good figure to get the mind focused), and Buddhists are generally accompanied by three son, Representative 3 Gem (Buddha, Dharma and Sangha). The Catholic rosary is a concept very similar.
