Japa Beads

How long will it take for the track 16 laps of the (ISKCON / Hare Krishna) Mahamantra?
I was interested in Hare Krishna lately and recently discovered that Hare Krishna followers are expected to sing the daily Mahamantra Japa Mala, which are like a Catholic rosary. There are 108 beads on a string Japa Mala and there is a minimum of 16 rounds of singing every day. Take time Mahamantra myself singing a couple of times and it took me an average of about 10 seconds to sing the mantra of text. (10 seconds per song) * (108 songs / return) * (16 shots per day) * (1 minute/60 seconds) = 288 minutes or 4.8 hours. This does not strike me fair. Can anyone confirm or deny this merger? Five hours of singing per day seems absurd. I mean it's good for the ascetics, but for fans of the congregation, is simply exaggerated. I am a student and I will not give five hours a day!
Not expected that the 16 laps from the start. I've been passionate about six years and I'm sorry say that I have my song full 16 rounds every day as I at this time. is more important to increase slowly until 16 laps and goals and to remain consistent all days. That said, most people have about 2 or 2 1 / 2 hours to sing his 16 laps. sing again, the faster you get. but remember that this is not a contest speed, either:) Just take your time, is more important to sing a round every day to think you have to do 16 and then never had time for! good luck do not hesitate to message me with any questions!
